oooh...scarey!
I wonder why people are too chicken shite to put 6.6.6 on the movie posters for THE OMEN. They put 6.6.06. While, technically correct, graphically, it looks wack, and c'mon! The entire reason for releasing a movie on a fricken' tuesday is to get that 6+6+6 date as a marketing tool. Le sigh.
I did some major work on the weekend. And most of it on Kissing Chaos! Sweet. I'm really excited to get going again on this book, and I will devote much more time to it, even though I really have to get some freelance work. Got bills to pay, yo!
At this point, I'm knee deep in Mocca-prep. Trying to get this comic done (clearly my goal of finishing it in one weekend did not happen). I'm not worried...yet. Plus, I'm having some issues getting buttons made. But nevertheless, we strive on!
With all the crap I'm doing, I'm not going to get the new website and blog thing rolling until next week. But I'll definitely put some previews of the KC comic I'm doing online before I head to NYC. Stay tuned.
As mentioned in earlier posts, my Canadian-ness shines through every spring, when I get all jock-ified and watch the playoffs of the only sport I follow...hockey. It's even better this year, as one of my fave teams is playing for the big prize! It's a pretty cool feeling, and as bizarre as it seems, I can sort of empathize with those sport nerds in the jerseys and painted faces. Unfortunately, my team the Oilers dropped the series opener to the Carolina Hurricanes. Not only did they lose, but their top goalie (who was instrumental in getting this far)was injured, and won't be back for the rest of the series. It's a jaw dropping turn of events.
Seriously! It is!
Anyway, I'm about to pull an all nighter drawing some Kissing Chaos.
I'll keep the light on!
