I'm a PC

So, being a child of the 90's, and a fan of Seinfeld, the show, I was definitely hyped to see these touted Microsoft ads featuring none other and Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld. Though I think Apple personal computers (PCs) have awesome aesthetics, and it's OS is pretty slick, I usually default to purchasing Windows based computers, currently using a tablet ASUS which rocks! The reason for my choice is not that I resemble the PC guy from the horrible MAC/PC ads, but that I'm not a rich man. When I'm faced with two mainstream options for a computer/laptop what have you, that essentially operate the same, with only slight differences in execution (and gross differences in style and public perception), I most likely opt for the cheaper option. Windows based PCs, are more often than not, cheaper than Apple Platform pcs with comparable specs.

So, I was a little disappointed when Microsoft pulled the Seinfeld ad campaign. I thought they were funny. I don't mind the new I'm a PC ads, but they don't really provoke much thought, so, yeah.

3 weeks in, and the new 90210

Some days I feed babies and watch the Food Network all day. Other days I work on freelance so I keep my kids in diapers. Other days I plan to work on the Kissing Chaos webcam, but never find the time.

I sometimes think someone should call the creators of the new 90210 series, and tell them that the white family adopting a black kid storyline has already been done in another teen drama, South of Nowhere, less than 3 years prior. Sure, it was on a different cable network, but the new 90210 smacks of bootleg, been there done that.

11 days in...

So, I've been incognito the last couple of weeks. That's because I'm 11 days into being a dad. A dad of twins! And so far, so good! Everyone is still alive, and happy, sleep deprivation notwithstanding. I've also managed to get back into doing some work, though that's a huge challenge when you work at home, and both wife and kids are around. But I'll find a way to make it work. Someone's gotta keep these kids in diapers!!

I was debating if I should put pics of the kids online, but I'm not sure I want to be "that" guy. Perhaps just on myspace and facebook for my "friends".

And after a bit of an absence, Kissing Chaos 'Til I die should get back on schedule next week... keyword "should"!

so, today I become an adult. A dad. In a few short hours. What am I doing posting on a blog? Insomnia? Nerves? I dunno. Maybe guilt because I most likely won't have time to post for the next week.... not that I've been a posting maniac, lately...
